YR6 Eagle Class News @FP
This week, Eagle Class @FP have been learning all about the importance of trees and the many ways they help our planet. We explored how trees provide homes for wildlife, produce the oxygen we breathe and help keep our environment healthy. We also discussed why trees are so important for people and animals, and how we can all do our part to protect them.
The children have been developing their understanding of the natural world and discovering why it is so important to look after our trees and green spaces for future generations.
Frankie said “Trees are important for habitats, to stop floods and for oxygen”
Aaliyah said “Trees are good for materials to work on. You can’t work on anything without trees – there wouldn’t be a school, there wouldn’t be any houses or any tools”
