Eagle Class @FP – Music Technology 

Eagle Class have thoroughly enjoyed exploring music technology through our Charanga unit this term. The children have been learning how to layer different musical parts and instruments to create their own electronic compositions, experimenting with rhythm, melody and texture to produce some fantastic original pieces.

The children have now been given their login details so they can continue developing their work at home using Yumu Studio (YuStudio) on Charanga. We would encourage them to log in, explore the software and add new sounds, instruments and musical ideas to their compositions. It’s a great way to build confidence, creativity and musical skills.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and creativity Eagle Class have shown throughout this unit. They have also impressed us with their singing this year, and we are looking forward to showcasing their wonderful vocal talents in the Year 6 production in just a few weeks’ time!
