YR6 Eagle Class News @FP
Lately Eagle Class @FP have shown wonderful enthusiasm and commitment while spending time outdoors, supporting both our forest school and school garden. They have taken great care in watering the planters and helping to prepare the science garden, getting everything ready for planting.
As part of Science Week last half term, Eagle Class proudly supported both KS1 and KS2 in our whole-school gardening competition. It has been lovely to see their efforts as they continue to help plant and regularly water them in the garden. Their sense of responsibility and pride in their work has been clear to see.
Eagle Class are also eager supporters of our Eco Warriors, showing a genuine passion for making our school a more environmentally friendly space for everyone. Many of the children offer daily to spend time in the garden helping out, which is truly lovely to witness.
It has been especially exciting to see that some of the plants are still continuing to grow even after the competition. One child was delighted to share their late-sprouting bud, proudly bringing it in to show how it is now beginning to grow which is an excellent reminder that patience in gardening can be rewarded.
The class have also become fantastic role models for younger children, helping to care for plants around the playground and confidently answering questions about how they grow. Their knowledge, kindness, and enthusiasm are inspiring others to take an interest in the natural world.
Well done, Eagle Class, for your dedication and for helping our school community flourish!
