Inspired by our history topic on World War II, we have explored powerful poems of the past, dissecting the impact of carefully chosen words. Before putting pen to paper, we delved into the critical moments of battle and the aftermath of war, shaping the theme and tone of our own work. With our poetry toolbox at the ready – rhythm, line breaks, rhyme, and repetition—we have crafted verses to be proud of.
