A Well-Deserved Adventure for Our Amazing Year 6 Pupils!
As part of celebrating our Year 6 pupils’ fantastic achievements and hard work throughout the year, we enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Chessington World of Adventures before half term.
With shorter queues during the week, we were able to make the most of our day and experience an incredible number of rides and attractions, including Vampire, Tiger Rock, Tomb Blaster, Zufari, Rattlesnake, Ostrich Stampede, Mamba Strike and Blue Barnacle. We even had time for a little shopping before heading home!
The highlight for many was our very first ride of the day :Vampire, the adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster that sends riders soaring through the treetops with their legs dangling beneath them. One pupil, who had been feeling nervous beforehand, proudly said, “I was flying through the trees with my legs dangling! I really want to go again!”
The excitement continued on Rattlesnake, where another child exclaimed, “This is so amazing, sitting in a small carriage going fast with sharp turns and twisty turns!”
Tiger Rock was another firm favourite. Everyone loved the exhilarating flume ride, travelling through dramatic misty landscapes before the spectacular splashdown at the end. There were smiles, laughter and plenty of memorable moments throughout the day.
The trip was a wonderful way to celebrate the children’s hard work, resilience and success. It was truly a day to remember and one that our Year 6 pupils will cherish for years to come.
