n Kingfisher Class @FP our maths subject is place value. We have been learning how to partition numbers all the way up to 1,000,000! We did this with place value charts and counters first but can now do it without them.

In English we have been writing our own short stories. We focused on using interesting and different openers. We have been attempting to use dialogue to move action in our stories on and we have definitely also improved our publishing skills! Have a look at some of our writing.

In music we have been learning ‘Living on a prayer’ by Bon Jovi. We have been playing the glockenspiels in time with the music. Performing to each other and having a lot of fun!
