The children, in Hummingbird class @FP, had an amazing day at Godstone Farm. We met lots of interesting animals and developed an understanding of our science topic ‘animals including humans’.

We were able to meet and touch different animals learning their names and observing their characteristics.  We especially loved getting close to the animals during our handling session. When we return to school we will be writing a memoir of our exciting day.

In geography we have been thinking about how people’s jobs will impact on the clothes that they wear. We looked at farmers and discussed how their clothes would be different from a person who worked in an office and wore a suit.
