In Dove Class @FP we took a very exciting delivery of ten eggs this week. The children have watched and listened and after only 1 day most of the eggs had already hatched. The children observed and described what they look like and what noise they make. Next week we will be writing an information book all about the chicks. So over the weekend if you could talk to you children about chicks, questioning the children on what they look like and even do some research into what the chicks might eat and grow.

In maths the children have been learning to count in 2s, 5s and 10s. we have been looking at the patterns of counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and what numbers we say aloud.

In history we have been learning about the history of Catford, how Catford got its name and we have been looking at historical pictures of catford, discussing what is the same and what is different.
