Duckling Class @FP Become Authors, Illustrators and Publishers!

This week, Duckling Class enjoyed reading the wonderful story ‘Walking Through the Jungle’. Inspired by the adventurous tale, the children used their imaginations to create and write their very own stories.

Our young authors wrote about all kinds of exciting journeys, including walking through jungles, running through rainforests, jumping in puddles, swimming in rivers, flying through the sky and trekking across mountains. They worked incredibly hard to think of creative ideas and bring them to life with their writing and illustrations.

Once their stories were complete, the children took part in the publishing process too! Their pages were laminated, bound together and transformed into a real book. This meant that the children became not only authors and illustrators, but publishers as well!

We are so proud of the creativity, enthusiasm and effort shown by every member of Duckling Class. Well done!
