Year 3 Pelican @FP have been digging deeper into the Stone Age and discovering fascinating facts about life thousands of years ago!

We became archaeologists for the day and examined replica Stone Age poo to uncover clues about their diet. During the Neolithic period, people began settling in one place and farming the land, so their meals included seeds, berries, fish, and oats.

We also explored how historians learn from Stone Age cave art. Inspired by these ancient artworks, we had a go at creating our own cave paintings to show what life might have been like back then!
