Year 1/2 Heron class @FP: It wasn’t just Sports day that made our week so special! On Wednesday, Nas, a South London firefighter from Croydon, came to talk to us about fire safety. We talked about what we know about fire safety and how it has changed in London, then about how to call for help when we need it. We went over hazards in the house, and how to alert our adults in an emergency. Nas rhymes better than a poet, so we had plenty of catchy slogans to chant about keeping safe.
