Heron Class @FP had an amazing time celebrating World Book Day! The classroom was full of fantastic costumes. We saw superheroes, princesses, wizards and lots of characters from our favourite stories. The children loved showing their outfits and talking about the books their characters come from.

We also had a special visit to the library where the children explored lots of different books and enjoyed choosing stories to look at together.

One of the best parts of the day was a special story from Mrs Anderson. She told us about dual language books and shared a lovely story with us. We learned that some books can be read in two different languages, which helps more people enjoy the same story.

It was a fun day full of stories, imagination and a love of reading. Well done Heron Class for your brilliant costumes and fantastic listening! 🌟📖
