In Hummingbird class @FP, we had a special visitor, Zeus the tortoise! He came into class to help us learn about reptiles. We were able to feel and describe his scaly skin and we were surprised at how strong and quick he was.

We have found out that animals can be organised into different groups and have used our scientific knowledge to organise our own zoos. We can group animals and also use our observation skills to look closely at their features. We were able to visit the Warren rabbits and look at the mammals and find out from the Warren children how they care for them.  Mrs Banning bought in some fish and Mrs Dervish shared her birds so Hummingbird class could become experts about animals.
